AI Calling Providers Compared

Managed or DIY, who builds the agent, and what each option includes for a capital raise.

The six AI calling platforms that rank for outbound calling are Retell AI, Bland AI, Vapi, Synthflow, ElevenLabs Agents and CloudTalk. All six are general-purpose platforms, and most are do-it-yourself: you write the agent, connect the phone lines and bring the leads. AI Investor Calls is a managed service built only for investment offerings. We build the agent from your offering materials, supply investor leads through JAD Enterprises and sort every result into investor categories.

Research as of October 10, 2026, from each provider’s own website. Plans change, so check each provider’s site for current details.

Up front: we run on Retell AI

AI Investor Calls runs on Retell AI’s voice engine. Retell is the platform underneath, so it is not a like-for-like rival. Think of it as the engine, and AI Investor Calls as the finished, managed service built on it for capital raisers. If your team wants to build and run its own agent, Retell is a strong place to start. If you want it built, run and tied to investor leads for you, that is what we do.

Sources: each provider’s own pricing and product pages, as of October 10, 2026. Bands are explained below. No rival prices are shown.

What the $ Bands Mean

Each band is the cost to get a first outbound campaign running for one month, before per-call or per-minute usage. It leaves out the engineering time a DIY platform needs, which is often the bigger cost. Usage is not banded: we bill per call or per conversation, the others bill per minute or by plan, and the two cannot be lined up without knowing your call lengths.

$

Free to start, then pay as you go per minute. You build everything.

Retell AI, Vapi, ElevenLabs Agents, Bland AI (Start)

$$

A monthly plan in the hundreds of dollars. You still build the agent.

Bland AI (Build), CloudTalk

$$$

A setup fee plus a monthly fee in the low thousands. Built and run for you.

AI Investor Calls. Vapi’s Pro support tiers also sit here, but you still build.

$$$$

An annual enterprise contract with a custom quote. Vendor engineers help build.

Synthflow (soft, see note), and the enterprise tiers of Bland AI, Vapi and Retell AI

Our own prices, from our pricing page: a $2,500 one-time agent build per offering, a $500 monthly platform fee, and call credits at $0.13–$0.15 per call or $3.20–$3.50 per contact. First-time bonus: 2,500 free call credits. See a worked example on what AI calling costs.

Managed or DIY: Which Fits You

A DIY platform fits if…

  • •You have people who can write prompts, connect phone lines and tune an agent.
  • •You want full control over every setting, model and voice.
  • •You call for many uses beyond investors, such as support or scheduling.
  • •You want the lowest cost to start and will pay as you go by the minute.
  • •You need very large volume. Bland AI and Vapi both describe very high call counts.

A managed service fits if…

  • •You are raising capital and want the agent built from your offering materials.
  • •You want to approve the agent, not build it.
  • •You need investor leads as well as the calls.
  • •You want results already sorted by investor interest, with recordings and summaries.
  • •Up to 50 calls at once, or 10,000+ a day, is enough for your list.

What AI Investor Calls Includes

A managed service for companies raising capital or selling investment offerings by phone. Experience behind it: 8,600,000+ AI calls (as of July 2026), 490+ agent versions built and 47+ offerings pitched (both as of October 2026). See how we count these numbers.

What we build

  • +A custom agent for each offering, built from your PPM, pitch deck, website and FAQs.
  • +The phone pitch, call flow, deal-specific objection handling and a live knowledge base.
  • +Caller name, location, tone and approved follow-up email templates.
  • +Automated testing before launch. You approve every piece before a call is made.
  • +Agent ready for your review within 3–5 business days of getting your materials.

What you get in the portal

  • +Results sorted into Good Leads, Good For Later, Not Interested, Bad Leads and Non Accredited.
  • +Recordings, transcripts and an AI summary for every call.
  • +You choose when calls go out and how many, or schedule them by day.
  • +Lead upload from CSV or Excel, phone checks before calling, and a Test My Agent call to your own phone.
  • +Investor leads you can buy inside the portal, plus exports and a live Google Sheet.

Where we are not the fit

We only build agents for investment offerings. We run up to 50 calls at once, so a team that needs far more is better served by a platform built for that scale. AI Investor Calls does not claim SOC 2 or HIPAA. Our site lists what we do: DNC requests honored right away, every call recorded with a transcript and summary, client data kept separate, and card payments through Stripe with no card data stored on our servers. See calling practices and security.

AI Calling Provider Questions

Which AI calling provider is built for capital raisers?

Of the providers we compared as of October 10, 2026, AI Investor Calls is the only one built just for investment offerings. Retell AI, Bland AI, Vapi, Synthflow, ElevenLabs Agents and CloudTalk are general-purpose platforms that serve many industries.

What is the difference between a managed AI calling service and a DIY platform?

On a DIY platform, your team writes the agent, connects the phone lines, brings the leads and sets up how results are sorted. A managed service builds, tests and runs the agent for you. AI Investor Calls is managed: we build the agent from your offering materials and you approve it before any calls go out.

Does AI Investor Calls use Retell AI?

Yes. AI Investor Calls runs on Retell AI’s voice engine. Retell is the platform underneath. On top of it we build the agent for each offering, supply investor leads through JAD Enterprises, sort the results into investor categories and run the client portal.

Which AI calling platform is cheapest to start?

Retell AI, Vapi, ElevenLabs Agents and the Bland AI Start tier are free to start and charge as you go, per minute. On those, you build everything yourself, and the engineering time is often the bigger cost. AI Investor Calls charges a $2,500 one-time agent build per offering, $500 a month, and $0.13–$0.15 per call or $3.20–$3.50 per contact.

Why does AI Investor Calls bill per call instead of per minute?

AI Investor Calls bills per call attempt or per real conversation of 30+ seconds. The other providers we compared bill by the minute or by plan. Because the units differ, per-call and per-minute costs cannot be lined up without knowing your call lengths.

Which providers claim SOC 2 or HIPAA?

Retell AI, Bland AI, Vapi, Synthflow and CloudTalk list SOC 2 and HIPAA on their own sites, and ElevenLabs lists a HIPAA BAA on Enterprise. These are each company’s own claims. AI Investor Calls does not claim SOC 2 or HIPAA. We don’t give legal advice. Your company decides how its outreach meets the rules, with your own counsel.
